BiCon 2008 Registrations Now Open!

How BiCon's Pricing Structure Works

Prices for BiCon 2008 are set based on your level of income to enable people on lower incomes to attend.

BiCon's prices are split into:

  • Registration
  • Full Registration with Accommodation

This year anyone who has full BiCon Registration may attend Bi ReCon for free. For more information check out the Bi ReCon webpage.

The BiCon Helping Hand Fund is now open. Application deadline is 31st July 2008.

Accommodation

Accommodation at BiCon is in the halls of residence at Oadby Campus.

This year there are two types of accommodation:

  1. Standard in which each room has a wash basin and has one shower room between three people.
  2. En-suite in which each room has a shower, sink and toilet and slightly larger kitchens.

BiCon will collect information from attenders about who they wish to share flats with nearer to BiCon once we know who has booked which type of room. Most flats are likely to contain six (6) people.

Payment

Payment can be made in three ways:

  • Bank Transfer (BACS)
  • PayPal
  • Cheque

BiCon 2008 is happy to accept payment in installments until 31st July 2008.

Cheque

If you are paying by cheque, you can print out the printable registration form (PDF), write your name and address & postcode on the back of the cheque and post both of them to us at BiCon 2008, BM BiCon, London, WC1N 3XX.

You may also fill out an electronic copy of the registration form in MS Word format and return it by email to bookings@bicon2008.org.uk. You can return the booking form electronically in any way which contains all the information and is human readable and a fairly standard document format.

Bank Transfer (BACS)

If you want to pay by bank transfer (BACS) please send a completed electronic registration form to Natalya on bookings@bicon2008.org.uk first so she can send you a booking number to use as reference for tracing the BACS payment.

PayPal

The PayPal account is linked to the bookings@bicon2008.org.uk email address - which should be all the information you need to pay into it. Please put your Initials, Surname and Postcode in the PayPal reference field so we can trace PayPal payments.

If making a partial payment or payment for multiple attenders, please email Natalya and let her know when you made the payment, how much it was for and what you put in the reference field so it can be tracked.

BiCon will need attenders paying by PayPal to add £1.50 per transaction under £150 and £4.00 per transaction over £150 to cover the PayPal fees.

Email Natalya on bookings@bicon2008.org.uk with your completed electronic registration form. Natalya will get back to you to let you know your BiCon reference number and confirm receipt of the PayPal payment.

Helping Hand Fund

BiCon has a fund made up of donations and some surplus from previous BiCons which is used to assist attenders experiencing financial or accessibility hardship. There is more information at the Helping Hand webpage.

If you wish to donate to the helping hand fund, you can do this alongside a BiCon registration payment or as a separate transaction by BACS, PayPalor cheque. Please can you also email us on bookings@bicon200.org.uk to let us know if part or all of your payment is a donation so we can keep our payments separate from donations in the final 2008 accounts. All donations and donors will be kept confidential.
